Live webcams on Florence

If you want to “visit” Florence with a webcam or if you want to see from your pc what is the weather like in Florence you will find two sites where you can see the town live. The oldest webcam of Florence, from the the top of the cathedral (the Duomo) is still not working but there is a new one on the Ponte Vecchio. The webcam is along the Arno river (Lungarno Corsini) and it refreshes every 10 seconds. If you register (for free) in the site you have also the opportunity to redirect the webcam three times a day.
From this webcam on the contrary you can admire the Duomo from the terrace of the Kraft Hotel
Unfortunately, I could not find any other working webcam on Florence, but if you know more webcams we would be happy to publicize them.
There is another appealing webcam on this camping site overlooking the beach of Lacona in Elba Island, the largest island of Tuscany.
On this page you can find a long list of webcams from all the regions of Italy and from all over the world but unluckily the site is not updated and the webcams often don’t work. Make a virtual tour, anyway, it is worth it!
