Those students who come to attend Accademia del Giglio will find extremely convenient to spend some hours a day studying at the newest library of Florence: the Biblioteca delle Oblate. Situated in an ancient monastery a few steps from the Duomo (and from our school), the library has been inaugurated last year. Besides housing over 65000 books on three storeys, the library provides access to Italian and international newspapers (and magazines), it has a huge wifi area looking over the cloister, a coffee-shop and a children’s corner.
